Like many mammoth warehouses found in Cleveland, 78th Street Studios has a rich history dating back to 1905 when the structure was built for the Baker Electric Motor Vehicle Company. Years later through the 1980’s, the building was home to American Greetings’ Creative Studios. Within the bones of the building, visitors can find original hardwood floors, metal track doors, large industrial windows and old freight elevators.

Primarily known as an attraction for fine art and its THIRD FRIDAY Art Walk, which is consistently voted as one of the “Best Arts Events in Cleveland” and has been voted as Cleveland’s “Best Indoor Wedding Venue” in 2021 + 2022—78th Street Studios has quickly become an incubator for creative businesses and special events.

Today, any of our five, unique event venues can be used for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and other creative gatherings. We are located approximately 7 minutes from downtown Cleveland and in the heart of the Gordon Square Arts District, a bustling neighborhood of creative entrepreneurs, restaurants, art galleries, and theaters.
